Performing Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” on-stage at the Apollo Theater could highlight any professional singer’s résumé.

Jessica Sanchez (pictured above) not only did it to a standing ovation at the Harlem landmark; she achieved the feat at the ripe old age of 10.

The next year, Sanchez followed it up by competing in the maiden season of “America’s Got Talent.”

Small wonder; she has been singing since the age of 2.

Born in 1995 of Filipino-Mexican descent (her mother is from Bataan), the California native parlayed those early feats to a sensational runner-up finish in the 11th season (2012) of reality-show hit “American Idol.”

Her performance lighted up the twitterverse with approving tweets from millions of viewers.

In October of the same year, it was announced that Sanchez would have a recurring role in the fourth season of TV’s highly rated “Glee.”

The “American Idol” standout and now recording artist will bring her soulful renditions of contemporary classics to Fiesta In America’s cultural show on Aug. 12 and 13 at New Jersey’s Meadowlands Expo Center.

Sanchez will join arranger-composer Rey Valera, Tawag Ng Tanghalan grand champion Noven Belleza, Music and Magic, and Spanky and Roger Rigor of VST & Co as curtain-raisers to the full concert of the legendary Drifters.

Inducted twice in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and still touring the U.S. even in their fifth decade, the Drifters have sold more than 200 million records.

Their 13 Billboard Hot 100 hits include global favorites such as Save the Last Dance for Me, Under the Boardwalk, There Goes My Baby, On Broadway, and Sweets for My Sweet.

Since 1998, Fiesta In America has been known as the biggest consumer expo and cultural show of its kind on the East Coast.

The two-day event is a unique blend of trade exhibits from the Philippines and the U.S., free workshops, a Food Court of Filipino regional dishes, as well as artistic and fun activities for various age groups.

Major supporters include AARP, Asian Journal, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Goya Foods, Hackensack Meridian Health, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Hudson Kia, Hudson Toyota, LBC, T-Mobile, and Western Union.
