We bet it won’t be long before televiewers can get to see Vhong Navarro entertaining the madlang people once again in the top rated noontime variety show “It’s Showtime!”

Vhong, who is on the road to full recovery after being viciously mauled in a Taguig City condo by Cedric Lee and his men, had a Valentine dinner date with his fellow “It’s Showtime!” hosts.

He seems to be in good shape and having fun.

Anne Curtis posted in her Facebook page a photo of the reunion with a caption: “Masaya din kasama mga barkada kapag Valentine’s Day.”

On Monday (Feb. 17), during Anne’s 29th birthday celebration in “It’s Showtime,” Vhong greeted Anne via phone patch, as he apologized for not making it to her party Sunday night.

Anne told Vhong she understands his situation.

“Miss na miss ka na namin dito. We can’t wait na bumalik ka,” Anne said.

Vhong then cracked a joke in reference to his brutal beating in a condo unit.

Huwag ka mag-alala Anne, kung hindi man ako nakapunta diyan para batiin ka ng live, mamaya pag-uwi mo sa condo mo nandun na ako,” he said, drawing laughter from the other hosts and the studio audience.

In an interview with Pep.ph, Anne said she found Vhong greeting on the show “super funny” and that Vhong called her after to ask if his joke did well.

She said that Vhong’s joke is a sign that it’s time to move on from the incident.

“You know we just have to realize that time to move on and if someone can kid or make fun of it na, ‘yun na talaga,” Anne said.
