Anne Curtis and co-star Gerald Anderson.

“Dyesebel” made a huge splash on its premiere on March 17 as it topped the list of most watched TV shows nationwide with its 32.8% rating, breaking the 30.5% premiere rating of “Honesto.”

The good news overwhelmed Anne Curtis, 29, who was harshly bashed by netizens as too old for the role, and following her involvement in an embarrassing slapping incident in a Taguig City bar late last year that threatened her red-hot career.

Akala ko talaga katapusan na ng career ko,” she confessed, referring to the bar incident.

“Now I’m more aware of my limitations.”

“Dyesebel’s” pilot episode also dominated conversations on Twitter, with its official hashtag, #DyesebelAngSimula, topping the list of trending topics in the Philippines and worldwide.

“Dyesebel’s” powerhouse cast includes Gerald Anderson, Andi Eigenmann and Sam Milby, with Albert Martinez, Dawn Zulueta, Gabby Concepcion, Eula Valdez and Ai-Ai de las Alas.

Joining “Dyesebel” in the Top 10 shows are “TV Patrol,” “Ikaw Lamang,” “Annaliza,” “Be Careful With My Heart,” “Carmela: Ang Pinakamagandang Babae,” “Kambal Sirena,” “The Legal Wife,” “The Singing Bee” and “It’s Showtime.”
