“I don’t want to put off anything that I can do today, this month or this year. I don’t want to look back in regret and say I wish I went there, or done this. “

So, Pinky Santos, a Filipina American from Chicago, together with a friend from Australia, Dr. Ellen Manlongat, packed their bags and met in Peru two weeks ago.

One of the places the two visited was Machu Picchu (means Old Mountain), one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

It is a ruin which is said to be a city-state around 1300-1500 AD also known as “The Lost City of the Incas.”

Machu Picchu is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Pinky and Ellen share with us some photos they took in Machu Picchu which show the ruins.
