UPON my return to New Jersey from the windy city of Chicago last Sunday where I attended the inspiring and highly-informative 1st ANCOP USA Disaster Preparedness Summit, I jokingly asked myself whether the conference I just attended was in preparation for an impending PIDCI disaster?

In a radio interview, Pacquiao defended Binay from corruption allegations. “We see how he has been helping the province and the entire region, especially through his housing projects,” Pacquiao said. “You should know that the Vice President grew up poor. If he is elected, he will understand the plight of the many poor Filipinos. I believe that if he is elected, he will be of great help.” Pacman is being considered for recruitment by Binay’s United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) for its senatorial slate in 2016.
