Handang Tumulong Foundation's 'Anyo' fashion show at PhilCenter

AUG. 27—Handang Tumulong Foundation, Inc., a non-profit group that helps disaster victims in the Philippines through its disaster relief fund, will stage a benefit fashion show called "Anyo" at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The by-invitation-only event will feature the Philippines' rich fabrics and the collections of three multi-talented visionaries from the Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines, namely Edgar Madamba, Richard Papa and Edgar San Diego. The three designers have traveled extensively across Asia, Europe and America doing shows for the Filipino and American communities, mostly to help raise funds for various charity events, according to Cora Reyes, chairman of "Anyo."
