Filipinos to join Global Day of Action, Occupy Wall St.

OCT. 15—Join BAYAN-USA and the National Alliance for Filipino Concerns as they mobilize for a “Global Day of Action” to say “No to Endless Wars” on the 10th anniversary of U.S. war in Afghanistan. Initial meeting for Filipino contingent at 11:30 a.m. on the corner of Fulton Street and Nassau Street. The group will march at noon to join the rally on Wall Street and Broadway, then march to Occupy Wall Street encampment at Zucotti Park on Liberty Street and Broadway. Everyone is asked to wear red. Oct. 15 is a day of nationally coordinated antiwar actions in cities across the U.S. and a global day of action called by the International League of People's Struggle to resist war, political repression, and imperialist plunder.
