NYC concert to celebrate Felipe Padilla de Leon

SEPT. 9—A special concert celebrating the centennial of the birth of Philippine National Artist for Music Felipe Padilla de Leon will be held at 3 p.m. at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center at 129 West 67th Street in Manhattan. Featuring a diverse selection of works by the beloved composer, including art songs, arias from his opera, piano, choral, and chamber music, and is presented under the auspices of the Felipe Padilla de Leon Foundation. Eric Gamalinda in NYC visual arts exhibit

SEPT. 14—Multi-awarded Filipino poet and artist Eric Gamalinda will be part of a visual arts exhibition entitled “The Space Within” at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Educational Center at 107 Suffolk St. New York, NY 10002.
