Declamation semi-finals honoring Dr. Rizal’s legacy

NOV. 9—A declamation contest for Grades 6 to 12 students in New York and New Jersey to honor the memory and legacy of Philippine national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal will be held in Jersey City, N.J. Sponsored by the Ladies of Rizal-New Jersey Chapter headed by Eloisa Porto, the semifinals will be held Nov. 9 at the PACCAL Neighborhood Center, and the finals on Nov. 16 at the Jersey City Council Chambers. A panel of judges will choose the semifinalists from all registered participants.
