Phil. Consulate to celebrate People Power's 25th anniversary

FEB. 24-26—The Philippine Consulate General in New York will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution with a flag raising ceremony at 8:50 a.m., a two-day film showing of documentaries on the bloodless and peaceful revolution at the lobby of the Philippine Center on Feb. 25 and 26, a book corner at the Philippine Center showcasing People Power books and other related articles from Feb. 24 to 26. Wang Center are inviting the public to the 3rd annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month celebration, at Stony Brook's Charles B. Wang Center from noon to 6 p.m. There will be multi-cultural booth display, arts and crafts, costumes, dance, featured presentations, vendor and corporate displays and workshops multi-cultural dance and musical performance, induction of new AAAB board members, presentation of awards for distinguished individuals and for the social harmony contest.
