Ludi Hughes, President of FAFI, will once again put together the 4th Annual Filipino American Festival in Bergen County, N.J. on Sept. 4.

Filipino American Festival, Inc. (FAFI) will be hosting the 4th Annual Filipino American Festival on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the New Overpeck Bergen County Park at the state-of-the-art Amphitheater located at 199 Challenger Road, Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660.

The venue is the largest recreational venue covering 805 acres of the adjacent towns of Leonia, Palisades Park, Ridgefield Park, Englewood and Teaneck.

The New Overpeck Bergen County Park is newly constructed state-of-the-art Palisades Park Sportsflex, a Bergen Equestrian Center, Athletic Fields & Tracks with natural grass and artificial turf, fishing areas, children’s playground, canoe/kayak at the Overpeck Creek, grass amphitheater, observation decks, a 5 mile route of walking/jogging pathway and a World Trade Center Memorial.

According to Ludi Hughes, President of FAFI, Overpeck was picked to become a recreational destination by many Filipinos who will be celebrating Filipino Heritage and promote cultural importance to their ethnic group and give Filipino community one of the best venues in Bergen County and in New Jersey.

It is a beautiful park covering 805 acres of land overlooking the Hackensack River, to be enjoyed by thousands of Filipinos, a venue with an open space and cleared for an environmental hazard.

As for entertainment, a surprise artist from TFC will be the guest to the event, including a popular band from the Philippines called “The Band of Brothers” and will be performing that will make the audience rock.

In support for local talents and performers, Rowena Aquino, Chair of Cultural Committee, will showcase all our local talents to give them opportunities to perform and be known in the community.

The popular Emmanuel Guinto’s Fashion Show will cover the runway to capture the modern style Filipina Costumes he designed.

He will once again showcase all his fashion designs coutured specifically to Filipino women participating in the Fashion Show.

The dashing Couturier, Emmanuel Guinto, will present his Collections that will make everyone capture the attention of the audience specially the young people.

Emmanuel will make sure that his fashion designs will cover each and every single piece he created.

TFC, ABS-CBN will play a big role to this event.
