In June 2016, the JCI community started a newest chapter called Philippine-American NJ Jaycees.

It is a local JCI NJ chapter whose mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young active citizens to create positive change benefiting the Filipino community both locally and internationally.

It is also to extend opportunities for Philippine-Americans to be part of the JCI community and gain potentials in leaderships in impacting a positive change.

The new chapter is led by Chapter President Maricar Taino, along with EVP (this writer) and IVP Sabrina Inigo, as well as other enthusiastic and passionate members.

The chapter would not have been pushed through without the support and guidance of JCI New Jersey State President Ria Serrano and JCI North Jersey Chapter President Joyce Andes-David.

A special and huge thanks to our supporters in the Filipino community, namely JCI North Jersey Alumni Mylz Tolentino of Western Union, Grace H. Labaguis of GMA Pinoy TV- EAST COAST (media sponsor), Michelle Narvaez, Win del R of Philippine Airlines, Marisse Panlilio of POPSIE’s, L.P. Pelayo of the Filipino Reporter and JCI North Jersey Associate Member Chris Anthony Bautista of SIRCH for their gracious support, sponsorship and trust.
