The Society of Philippine-American Artists, or SPAA, celebrates 2018 with its 25th annual exhibition, from Oct. 15 to 26, 2018, at the Philippine Center (556 Fifth Avenue at 46th Street) in New York. Exhibit hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Florenda B. Pedron was born on Aug. 15, 1934 in Penarrubia, Abra.

Three young leaders from the Philippines have been named as part of Asia Society’s Asia 21 Young Leaders Class of 2018 and will join other remarkable accomplished professionals from the Asia-Pacific region for the 13th Annual Young Leaders Summit in Manila.
