Gloria Angeles Santiago, a longtime resident of Panorama City, California, died on Feb. 13.

She was 97.

The deceased’s daughter, Atty. Aurora Santiago, former president of LAIKO and columnist of CBCP Monitor, announced the passing.

She said, “We, the children, grandchildren, children-in-law of Gloria Angeles Santiago, are grieving for the loss of our dearest Inay/Lola. She joined our Creator at 11:45 p.m. of Feb. 13 at the age of 97. Arrangements are still being done to bring home Inay to the Philippines. The wake in California will be at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary, 11160 Stranwood Avenue, Mission Hills, CA 91345 on Feb. 22 and 23.”

In Quezon City, the viewing will be at St. Peter Memorial Chapel, Commonwealth Avenue.

Dates will be announced later.

The deceased is survived by children Violeta Santiago-Rosales, Aurora A. Santiago, Benito and Leonisa Santiago, Victoria A. Santiago, Roberto and Flordeliza Santiago-Imperial, Roy and Jinky Santiago, Roberto and Ma. Loreto Santiago.

Grandchildren Marc Glenn and Michael Rosales, Charlie and Mary Gretchen Rosales-Castro; Eric, Ria and Raiza Imperial, Pipao and Robby Santiago; Romarico Santiago; great grandson C-2 Rosales Castro.
