Sir Attorney Ferdinand G. Suba, Esq., KGOR, New York Attorney; New Regional Commander; USA Eastern Region, Knights of Rizal.

Sir Attorney Ferdinand G. Suba, Esq., KGOR was unanimously chosen by the Supreme Council of the Knights of Rizal to be the Regional Commander for the Eastern Region Of The United States of America.

A graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University School Of Law and with post graduate studies in Elder Law (Wills and Trusts) at New York University (NYU), Sir “Atty. Dean,” as he is fondly called by his fellow knights, has been a very successful practicing lawyer in New York since 1989 when he established his own firm, The Law Offices Of Ferdinand G. Suba, in Manhattan.

He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1985.

He was also admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1989 and in the same year was admitted to practice law in U.S. Federal courts: U.S. District Court, Southern District Of New York and U.S. District Court, Eastern District Of New York.

Prior to immigrating to the United States, Sir Atty. Dean practiced law with his father, also a lawyer in Makati City, Philippines.

Atty. Suba taught Corporation and Partnership Law, Negotiable Instruments Law and the Philippine Constitution at the Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines.

Sir Atty. Dean continues to serve as legal counsel (pro bono) to non-profit organizations in the Filipino-American community in the New York metropolitan area.

Sir Atty. Dean is married to Carina C. Suba, an Assistant Vice President at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, N.Y.

They have two children: their daughter Katrina, who holds a Master’s Degree in Health Administration and currently works at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan; and their son Ferdinand, Jr., who graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Industrial & Labor Relations, and is currently a second year law student at Cornell Law School.

Sir Atty. Dean spearheaded a project as a Chapter Commander of Rizal - New York Chapter that resulted to a donation of $10,000 to the Ateneo de Manila University to create the first website that will contain the original writings of Dr. Jose P. Rizal.

This project is being handled by Prof. Ambeth Ocampo who was the former chair of the History Department Of The Ateneo.

Sir Atty. Dean also successfully mediated the conflict in the KOR Eastern Region wherein a peace accord was recognized by the KOR Supreme Council In Manila IHQ.

The Knights of Rizal will be well served by Sir Atty. Dean as its new Regional Commander, a distinguished gentleman whose credentials are impeccable and his integrity is unquestionable.
