On March 15, “Pope Francis Four Years In Review” was held at the New York Athletic Club in Manhattan before some 200 Catholic lay and church leaders.
For over an hour, the speakers discussed the doctrines of Pope Francis as contained in his writings.
Among the subjects were: discernment, need to identify the enemy and the author of many lies in society, renewed role of the Church, being merciful, beauty and value of marriage and family life, source of evil, source of good.
The speakers encouraged people to read the works of Pope Francis.
Speakers were Filipino Archbishop Bernardito Auza, Apostolic Nuncio and Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations; Archbishop Christophe Pierre, Apostolic Nuncio to the USA; and Rev. Matthew F. Malone, SJ, President and Editor-in-Chief of American Media.
